This season Clearcut Tree Surgery is sponsoring Luke Haine, captain of East Dorset Dockers RFC. We're a local firm, our customers are our neighbours, and we think local businesses should put something back into the clubs that bring people together.

Clearcut Tree Surgery Ltd, the Bournemouth tree surgery company, is the player sponsor of Luke Haine, captain of East Dorset Dockers RFC, for the current season. East Dorset Dockers is a community rugby union club, formed in 2020 when East Dorset RFC and Dorset Dockers merged. The club announced the sponsorship on its Facebook page.
We're delighted to be behind Luke Haine and East Dorset Dockers RFC this season.
A player sponsorship puts our name alongside one player for the season, and the money goes to the club. It helps with the everyday costs that keep a grassroots club running, so more people can keep playing.
The club shared the news in a player sponsor announcement and thanked us for supporting their player and the club. The thanks go both ways: it's a pleasure to back a club that gives so much to the area.

We never send a lone worker. Every job has a climber, ground crew and someone watching the drop zone, each relying on the others. A rugby side works the same way, and that's the spirit we want behind our name.
We're based in Bournemouth and work across Dorset and Hampshire. The people who watch, play for and run local clubs are the same people whose gardens we work in. Supporting the club is supporting our own community.
Rugby players train on cold, wet evenings and play in whatever the season throws at them. Our team works up trees in wind and rain and turns out for storm damage at night. We know what that takes.
A sponsorship from a local business is spent locally, on a local club, for local people. We'd rather our name helped a team in Dorset than sat on a billboard.
Grassroots clubs get people of all ages training and playing every week, which is good for physical and mental health.
Match days, training nights and club socials give people somewhere to belong, make friends and meet neighbours.
Community clubs rely on volunteers, members and local sponsors to cover costs like kit, pitch hire, travel and equipment. Sponsors help keep playing affordable.
Team sport teaches people to rely on each other, take responsibility and keep going when it's hard. Those are skills for life, and for work.
We're proud to be part of the community we work in. If you run a local club, school or community group in Dorset or Hampshire and you'd like to talk about support, send us a message. We can't say yes to everything, but we read every request.
