Firewood
Around 96% of the timber we cut becomes firewood. Seasoned, ready to burn, and sold locally, so the logs don't travel far.
Nothing we cut goes to waste. Timber becomes firewood through our sister company Woodland Firewood, woodchip goes to gardens, allotments and schools, and the rest heats our yard and local homes.

Clearcut Tree Surgery recycles every part of every tree it cuts. Around 96% of the timber is recycled into firewood, cut, split and seasoned by our sister company, Woodland Firewood. Brash and small branches are chipped into woodchip, which is used for mulch and paths and sometimes donated to allotments, community projects and schools. Timber that can't be sold is used on site at our yard to fuel a biomass boiler that heats homes and offices nearby. None of it goes to landfill.
The tree is dismantled or felled. Brash goes straight into the chipper; timber is cut into lengths.
