About the job

We're busy, and we're looking for experienced, qualified climbers to join our teams on a subcontract basis for regular days.

You'll climb with a Clearcut ground crew and our kit on site: chippers, stump grinders and, where the job needs them, platforms. Every job is planned, risk assessed and worked to BS3998, with an aerial rescue plan and a second rescue-trained climber on every climbing job.

What you'll do

  • Climbing and sectional dismantling with rigging
  • Crown reductions, thinning, lifting and deadwood removal to BS3998
  • Working with our ground crews and following the site risk assessment and rescue plan
  • Leaving every site clean, safe and tidy

What you'll need

  • NPTC CS38 Tree climbing and aerial rescue
  • NPTC CS39 Use of a chainsaw from a rope and harness
  • Your own public liability insurance
  • Your own climbing kit, in date and LOLER inspected
  • A safe, tidy way of working and solid climbing experience

Good to have

  • NPTC CS41 Tree dismantling with rigging
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience on access platforms
