Site clearance in short
Clearcut clears land of trees and vegetation across Dorset, Hampshire and parts of Wiltshire, from a single overgrown garden to a development site. We fell or dismantle the trees, cut and mulch scrub and brambles, remove hedges, grind out stumps, and take the waste away or chip it on site, leaving the ground level. For developers we also check protected trees and wildlife constraints first.

What site clearance involves
Every site is different, so we plan the order of work and the right machines on a free visit.
Trees come down first, felled where there is room or dismantled near buildings and boundaries. Scrub and brambles are cut and either chipped or flailed. Hedges are taken out, roots and all, and stumps are ground below the surface with the tracked grinder or lifted with a mini digger where the ground is going to be built on.
Waste is chipped into the truck and taken away, or chipped and spread on site where that makes sense. Timber can be extracted and stacked or removed.
Before clearance, we check for Tree Preservation Orders and conservation areas, and for nesting birds and other wildlife. On development land, we work to your planning conditions and tree protection plan.
